hello again
i've noticed that i usually have lotz of stuff to blog about but when it comes to the actual post...only 10 % of what i originally wanted will be posted...not like ji keon or su wen who can just type out what they want nicely..me thinks that me needs 2x-4x the time they need to do one post for me to write one post *_*
so i came up with this list ( kinda like the shopping list u know) so that i can stick to what i want to talk about
1.planetshakers
well PS. matt and the planetshakers worship team came on father's day to Sunway college :)
sister was begging to go and so we went with a couple of her classmates..and u know what it was really good!! you could really feel the prescene of GOD there as people worshiped
(something i observed that some ppl were kinda stolid during praise and worship-which was something i nvr saw in Melblurne but then i guess the Asian culture holds people back sometimes, gonna have to pray that GOD does a mighty work here until we can just worship without any bounds)
another observation-music was louder than in Melbourne but that was probably due to the fact that the MPH wasn't exactly sound-proof nor carpeted*i had ringin in my ears which freaked me out but then i commited it to GOD -after all we're there to seek JESUS rite??-and GOD healed it ears were normal after the service* got PICK IT UP which personally i think is the best so far
2.iraqi orphanange
the papers had something on this horrific discovery in Iraq-basically the US soldiers and the Iraqi army were going on their rounds when they peaked over a wall and saw like dead bodies. 1 soldier wanted to make sure and threw a ball over and one body actually picked up it's head and looked over at the soldiers o_O turns out the 'bodies' were actually special kids in an orphange who had been neglected by their carers ( there was food in the cupboards but the carers had been eating it up for themselves) the kids were naked, lying in faeces and vomitus, flies and magots were nesting in numerous open sores on their bodies, 24 kids in total were crammed in a small room, 8 were in one bed....this was a sight that melted the hearts of these rugged, stolid war veterans- some soldiers were just crying
why the special mention of this incident???well my CBP(community based placement) agency deals with 'special needs' kids too...i've played with healthy, unique kids who made you smile by their antics and looking at the photos broke my heart

3.CF
on a lighter note, i went back and visited my old school CF...it's great to see the work that GOD is doing there, CF's really growing and maturing
pei san & chii chie & wai ying (ex-classmates, last saw in dec)jennifer ( whom i havent seen in 2.5 years!!!!you still look the same) eugene(saw him again! but then when he flies off to US, things will be different) and of course joyce and adeline( 2 sisters who're incidently my neighbours too) sara kang also(great to catch up with u)-----all were there
after CF went to Silva's AGAIN! reason being eugene has a 'special connection' with the owner .....hehehe
4. letters to ppl
i've realised that some ppl are facing the same things that i face, they have the same worries that i do-->so i've decided to write letters to them(and post it up here) hoping that those who have had the same experince b4 will pour their wisdom out too
ppl dun exactly read my blog....i suppose it's because i often think'too deep' and my posts are too descriptive and flowery but there's a reason behind the decriptive posts-somethimes i wanna let out my feelings, opinions and porblems but for some reason i'd like to keep the details secret.....so i write it out in prose #this way the reader will know something's buggin me but they won't know the specifics NOT unless they were ( as Anne Shirley said and i quote"A KINDRED SPIRIT"unquote) #
i'm still looking for kindred spirits in the med faculty [i had 2-4 in sec. school, 2 in college, but none so far] those i had thus far really helped but now they're in different places, on different course paths, there's a kindred spirit with me still but some issues are hard for us to connect as that person has gone ahead and is on their own path now.....but i'll trust GOD to give me one in HIS time [and of course patience with GOD'S time too cuz often i want it now but GOD says waaiiitttttt- o_O]
my list is over for now but b4 i leave here's something interesting for meddies (negligence-how bad it can get.... worse than HOUSE)
