hello everybody...
it's been nearly 2 weeks since my last post...told you not to expect regular updates =)
well lots of things have happend since then....to sum it up these past 2 weeks has been a period of loss.
1. many of u would know from my friendster blog that i'm cureently full borading with an aussie angloindian family. my landlord's (whom i call uncle) mom died. sinsce i'm quite close to the family..i went to the funeral to support them.i met his mom once and had spoken to her a few times on the phone. needless to say, that one whole week i spent just supporting them in whatever way i could. it was a learning experince for me as a med student and also since the last death i was closely related to was my granddad's when i was 5.
2. my own carelessness comes into play here. in a period of 1 week i lost 2 monthly tickets( the 1st was expiring anyway while the 2nd was just a day old) and my mobile phone. it was horribble to lose my phone especially since it was:
i) it was my first phone barely 9 months old
ii) it was my SPM gift
iii) my SAM gift
iv) my 18th birthday gift
v) my deaprting gift from my dad (which was really dear to me)
vi) it was a k750i camera phone which meant a lot of my memories and photos were there..plus it was recetnly released and expensive when it was given to me
but somehow...GOd was looking out for me because a few minutes after losing it, this peace came like a heavy blanket on me and everybody said i seemed happier than before ;0
yes,...dad was upset and angry but more hurt than aanything cuz he felt that i didn't care much for it and hence was careless witj it .....he got over it quickly though.
FYO i lost my phone at the Sorento back beaches when going back to the car form the rocks..it fell into the water-high tide had come in. this had happened on an outing with the family i stay with the day after the funeral!!!
really nothing in our life is gurranteed.
there's this saying that aptly mirrors my feeling..
